and at the end of the day when you look yourself in the mirror that last time of the day right before you go to sleep, who do you have to blame? You finally accomplished what you thought would make your life 203 times easier. Yet the look in the eyes of the guy in the reflection and you know that things are 860 times worse. You cant seem to rest anymore because the last time i took a 9 hour nap i woke up with a back ache from a pot hole on the highway to the south of bumfuck lane. It might take 500 miles to get me there but i cant stay in the wild forever..ill find my way back to civilization. they say moss grows towards civilization so i guess ill just follow the green

so heres the thing

poetry is a thing of the past
either i lost my touch or everything in the world lost its meaning and i know what theory is winning.
i just write what i see and if there is any substance left in this world than it will have meaning, yet if this world has run dry of meaningful people, at least in my life, than everything i say will have no meaning, and if you dont understand what im saying that you just might be one of those factors of less substance and i may have wasted my life trying to save you

and today was a day like any other.

honestly, i could write you a novel stating every one of my last reasons
but you just cant understand if you dont want to understand
or is it that i should have listened when you tried to explain, ehh welp no one else to blame delilah the times zones dont favor our love because every time im up your down

Theres only a billion things left unsaid between us,
but some things are better left that way.
and as for the people who are not what they seem
your time will come.
stop pretending to care about everything thats wrong with the world
when everyone knows that the only concern in your life is your own wants.
a persons character isnt judged by what they say, but how they respond or act ini the face of adversity. word to a wise.
